Judith Ann Roy, age 73, of Clever, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, October 27, 2014. She was born February 19, 1941 in Springfield, the daughter of Lycurgus and Ina (Russell) White. Judy and Tommy Dale Roy were happily married on May 29, 1959 and shared many memories with their children.
Judy retired as Administrative Assistant for Nixa Famers Mutual Insurance Company. She loved her family and always looked forward to being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, sewing together. She was a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church and was a strong Christian woman, always setting a wonderful example for her family.
Survivors include: Three children and their spouses, Jeffrey and Kathy Roy of Clever, Gregory and Shelly Roy of Clever, and Angie and David Nelson of Billings; six grandchildren, Becky and Scott Ahrens, Leanne and Jared Hall, Jared and Victoria Roy, Tyler Roy, Andrew Nelson, and Matthew and Leslie Nelson; two great-grandchildren, Brendyn Ahrens and Oliver Roy; a brother, Hal White and wife Brenda; a sister, Kayla Maloney; other relatives and many friends who touched her life.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, and her parents.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 30, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery Clever. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Union Ridge Cemetery Fund.
