He was born in Spokane and was graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and the University of Washington.
Mr. Diskin was owner and president of Interstate Parts & Equipment and Triangle Truck Parts.
He was a past president of B’nai B’rith and of the Temple Beth Shalom Men’s Club. He also was a charter member of Spokane Eastside Rotary Club and a past director of the National Council of Fleet Specialists.
Survivors include his wife, Joani, and three sons, Adam, Lee and Matt Diskin, all at the home; his mother, Bert Diskin of Spokane; and two sisters, Sonja Harrison of Seattle, and Marsha Mesher of Portland.
