Spokane businessman Harold C. Diskin, 41, died Thursday at Sacred Heart Medical Center after a long illness.

Service was Friday at Temple Beth Shalom, where he was a director. Burial followed at Mount Nebo Cemetery.

He was born in Spokane and was graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and the University of Washington.

Mr. Diskin was owner and president of Interstate Parts & Equipment and Triangle Truck Parts.

He was a past president of B’nai B’rith and of the Temple Beth Shalom Men’s Club. He also was a charter member of Spokane Eastside Rotary Club and a past director of the National Council of Fleet Specialists.

Survivors include his wife, Joani, and three sons, Adam, Lee and Matt Diskin, all at the home; his mother, Bert Diskin of Spokane; and two sisters, Sonja Harrison of Seattle, and Marsha Mesher of Portland.

The family suggests memorials in his name to Temple Beth Shalom, E1322 30th, Spokane 99203.
