Thomas J. Faulkner of Emporium, formerly of Hyde, died Monday in the Elk County General Hospital at Ridgway after a short illness.
Born Aug. 17, 1893, at Moshannon, he was a son of James and Tobitha (Rowles) Faulkner.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Faulkner, a daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Verna) Butler, both of Munson; a son, Robert Faulkner, Wallaceton; one sister, Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Poole of Hyde and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Pilgrim Holiness Church at Hyde, the Rev. John A. Gangeware officiating. Interment will be in Centre Cemetery.
