Mrs. John N. Krier, 65, of 2804 sixth avenue, Rock Island, died at 7:40 this morning in St. Anthony's hospital following a week's illness of pneumonia.
Funeral services will be held at 10 Wednesday morning in Wheelan funeral home. The Rev. Frederick J. Rolf will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Mrs. Krier was born Aug. 12, 1871, in Carroll county, Illinois. She attended rural schools and was married to John N. Krier in Rock Island in November, 1908. The couple moved to Rock Island eighteen years ago. Mrs. Krier was a member of Royal Neighbors of America, and was of Lutheran faith.
Surviving are the widower; two daughters Mrs. F. A. Smith of Muscatine and Mrs. Charles A Decker of Rock Island; three sons, George McLaughlin of Davenport, John Krier of Cedar Rapids and Carl (sic - Earl) Krier of Rock Island; one sister, Mrs. William Ziesche of DeWitt, Ia., and a brother, Henry Ahrndt(sic), of Ottumwa, Ia.
