Anne/Ann unknown Bowen, married Ephraim Bowen in Va. They had five Children: Micajah, William Rueben, James, and John. No girls. Anne's maiden name is unknown and not proven. If her birth date is correct, she married young about 14yrs, but there is no accurate date. She she could be off a few years.

Anne and the children were named in Ephraim's will. Anne is believed to have died about 1815. Ephraim and Anne believed to be buried on the Bowen Farm Cemetery . at Red Hill near North Garden, Albemarle, Va.
He bought land in Albemarle Co., Va. in Aug. of 1784, on the North Fork of the Hardware River next to his son John Bowen. He farmed his land about 8 yrs. Ephraim died in 1792.

Anne died about 1815, the son Micajah Sr.. and John inherited the farm.
Court suits between the sons, Micajah and John and James, and between and Micajah and William Bowen. Started in the year of 1815 probably after Anne's death. The suits continued off and on for many years. John died in 1818 and James died 1817. Micajah later sued brother William in 1824 over money owed on Tobacco crops and other debts.

Anne Bowen outlived Ephraim and continued on the homestead with her sons til her death

original written will..WILL BOOK No. 3, Albemarle County, VA 1785-1798, pp.162-163. Will probated July 1792, made out 7 Jan 1790, naming sons William, John, Reuben, Micajah, James and wife Anne. Witt: Robert and John Harris and Hannah Uptegrove.... NO DAUGHTERS , Only sons
No maiden name has been proven for Anne.
