Mark Alborn son of Jane Trucks Alborn and Harold Alborn was born at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on April 13, 1964 and departed this life March 18, 1996 in Lenox, Iowa at the age of 31.
He lived with his family in Des Moines until second grade when they moved to a farm in Bedford, Iowa. He attended public school in Bedford and was baptized and confirmed in the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church.
On December 31, 1987 Mark was united in marriage to Sue Hess at Denison, Iowa and they lived most of their married life in Lenox. Mark and Sue have two children Amber and Andy.
Mark served in the United States Army in the Infantry and Air Assault Units, and also in the Iowa National Guard. He most recently worked in construction.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father Harold and sister Rae Lynn.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother Jane Alborn, his wife Sue and children Amber and Andy, brother Mike and his wife Mary, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday March 23, 1996 at Novinger Taylor Funeral Home with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Bedford, Iowa.
