Peggy Ruth Faulkner Coleman, age 82, of Smyrna died Saturday, October 25, 2014. She was a native of Murfreesboro and daughter of the late Eugene Wallace and Ettie McAdams Faulkner.
Mrs. Colman was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam Barnes Coleman, Sr., who died in 1982.
Graveside service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Mapleview Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Cornwell will officiate.
Visitation will be 3:00 until 8:00pm Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by two sons, Sam Barnes Coleman, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Smyrna, William Faulkner Coleman and his wife Lisa of Nashville, daughter, Charlotte Elizabeth Coleman and her husband Roy Baudoin of Smyrna, sister, Lucile Sorrells of Bell Buckle, grandchildren, Sam Barnes Coleman, III and Caroline Paige Coleman both of Smyrna, beloved sister-in-law, Marlou Coleman Patterson and devoted friend, Sadie Brandon both of Smyrna.
Mrs. Coleman was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ, a graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School and MTSU.
The following will serve as pallbearers, Sam Barnes Coleman, III, Rodney Coleman Patterson, Ronald Swink Patterson, William Kent Coleman, Roy Baudoin, Thomas McAdams, William Culberson, Robert Berry and Kevin Gavin.
Memorials may be made to the Lawrence Gardner Fund at Highland Heights Church of Christ, Smyrna-LaVergne Food Bank or Alive Hospice in memory of Mrs. Coleman.
