Born in Union, Mississippi on March 6, 1943, to the late Frank and Adel Stevens Allday, he had lived most of his adult life in Pierce County. He had served in the United States Army and was retired from Thom’s Transport as a truck driver. Mr. Allday loved the Lord, his church - he was a member of New Life Assembly of God - and his family.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Allday.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ora Lee Dean Allday of Blackshear; a daughter, Teresa Boyett (husband Steve) of Screven; two sons, David Allday (wife Jean) of Blackshear, and Wesley Allday of Blackshear; a special daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Marie Smith (husband Irvin) of Blackshear; four sisters, Dot Dixon (husband Avery) of Douglas, Diane Aldridge (husband Joe) of Blackshear, Nancy Kinsley of Valdosta and Joyce Garrison of Ardmore, OK; three brothers, Richard Allday (wife Faye) of Blackshear, William Allday (wife Gaby) of Germany, and Frankie Allday (wife Connie) of Blackshear; seven grandchildren, Jeffery Boyett (wife Jessica), Colt Rainey, Austin Allday, Blake Allday, Robyn Thorne (husband Blake), Kevin Allday, and Casey Robinson (wife shelby); seven great grandchildren, Levi Boyett, Bella Harvey, Christian Thorne, Eli Thorne, Willow Robinson, Scarlett Robinson, and Jaxx Robinson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 27, 2014 The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o’clock Monday evening at the funeral home.
Service 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 The funeral for Mr. Allday will be held Tuesday afternoon, October 28,2014, at 3 o’clock from New Life Assembly of God.
Interment will be in the Waters Cemetery.
