Veronica is survived by her father and stepmother: Floyd T. and Velma Francis of Piqua; her mother: Betty J. (Clark) Francis of Piqua: 1 son: Daniel "D. J." Abbott, of Piqua; 2 daughters: Jennifer Abbott and Jessica Jones, both of Piqua; 2 grandchildren: Shawn Wright and Naomi Pieper; 5 sisters: Sharon Francis, of Piqua, Evelyn Smith, of Piqua, Norma Eshman, of Piqua, Susan Crase, of Tipp City and Theresa Bean of Piqua; 3 brothers: Bruce Francis, of Troy, Ron Francis, of Piqua and Ted Francis, of Fletcher.
Veronica attended Piqua City Schools and she was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Piqua. She loved being a grandmother!
Funeral services will be Monday September 20, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Grilliott officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, Ohio. Calling Hours will be Sunday, September 19, 2004 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 5:00 pm.
