S/Sgt William E. Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Adams, Mer Rouge, husband of Mabel McGaha, attended Mer Rouge High. Entered Army Air Corps, 1941, trained at Morrison Field, Florida. Served in APO and India. Awarded APO, ATO, AD, 2 battle stars, Pres. Citation, GC, and Victory Ribbons. Discharged in 1945.
