Services for Hunter Justus, 17, of Lufkin, will be held at Cross Timbers Cowboy Church, with Principals Karen Shoemaker and Kris Whisenant officiating. Interment will follow in the Aldredge Cemetery.
Hunter was born September 12, 1997 in Lufkin. He passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 in Lufkin.
Hunter loved hunting and fishing. He was a very loving, outgoing person. He loved being in communication with his friends and family. If he wasn't chatting with one, he was chatting with another. Hunter was the manager of the Central High School Varsity Basketball Team.
Survivors include his grandparents, Sherry and Phillip McCaa; grandfather, Mike Justus; brothers, Scottey Brumley, Christopher Cole Justus, and Patrick Justus; sister, Brandy Justus; uncles, Josh Justus and wife Susan and Hunter McCaa; aunt, Hillary Rivera and husband Albert; mother, Rhonda Klem; great-grandparents, Mary Oliver and Myrtle Ware; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members; and special friend, Omar Barrientos.
Hunter was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Michael Justus in 2007.
