Artis Pauline Stott, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City.
Mrs. Stott was born July 1, 1926 in Brown County, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph Alonzo and Lillian Frances Fox Lazzell. She married John Robert Skaggs on July 7, 1944 in Columbus, Indiana. He died January 1, 1984. On April 2, 1991 she married Raymond Louis Stott in Mt. Union. He died April 21, 1996. She attended school in Indiana. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Indiana and the Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Washington.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, going to the casino, making biscuits and gravy, her flowers, gardening, and her cat, Baby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three sisters, and three brothers.
