Services for Albert B. Carroll, 70, of 2141 Malvern av., will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoyne funeral home, 635 Salem av. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made to a Cancer fund.
Mr. Carroll died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the residence. He had been head porter in charge of the transportation desk at the Dayton Biltmore hotel since its opening in 1929. In 1949 he was honored by the management for 20 years' service. He was a native of Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his wife, Mae; four sisters, Mrs. Tene Potter of New Cumberland, Pa., Mrs. Bessie Reynolds of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Mary Van Sice of Claymont, Del., and Mrs. Anne Lectheler of Lemoyne, Pa., and a brother Lewis of Lancaster.
