Doyle was born October 31, 1945 at Garber, OK, the son of Ernest and Velma (McVay) Burroughs and died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Tulsa. After graduation, Doyle joined the Army and served his country from 1965 to 1967 and served in Vietnam. On June 19, 1970 he married Teresa Maciel in San Jose, CA. Prior to retirement, Doyle was a supervisor and worked 31½ years for Southwestern Bell Telephone.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa of the home; two sons, Steve Burroughs and wife, Sandra of Oklahoma City, Fred Burroughs of Okay; two daughters, Diane Reece and husband, Donald of Gore, Evelyn Stephens and husband, Roy, of Arlington, TX; three sisters, Aylene Rogers of Leach, Susan Bassore and husband, Todd, of Republic, MO, Cindy Palmer and husband, Garold, of Grove; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Darrel, Phillip, and Michael Burroughs; two sisters, Darlyne Myers and Anita Nail;
