Claudia Leona Stallberg Keith, 94, of California formerly of Greeley, Colorado died Friday, January 3, 2003, in Pasadena, California. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at Allnutt Funeral Service/Macy Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley, CO. Claudia was born October 18, 1908, in Warren, Minnesota to Bruce and Helen (Peterson) Stallberg. She passed away and was welcomed into the House of the Lord where she will dwell forever. Claudia, at the age of 3 months, traveled by train to the flats of Alamogordo, New Mexico, where her parents, immigrants from Sweden, homesteaded. She married William C. Keith in 1935, and he preceded her in death in 1990. She followed her husband through several pastorates for the Church of the Nazarene, one of which was the Sunnyview Church of the Nazarene in Greeley. As a minister's wife, her motto was "Wherever thou goest, I will go. Whatever thou doest, I will do. Thy people will be my people." According to her husband, she was the queen of the parsonage. They retired in Greeley, where she lived until 1990 when she moved to California to live with her daughter. She was one of the earth's sweetest women, loved by all who knew her. Her children and the numerous friends who had the pleasure of knowing her will miss her. Her daughter, Kathy Proulx and husband Bob of Altadena, CA; sons, Curt Keith and wife Judy and Ken Keith and wife Sylvia all of Valrico, FL; sister, Irene Stallberg Stanton; several friends; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband in 1990.
