Loretta L. Railing Feb. 16, 1955 - Oct. 9, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Loretta L. Railing, 59, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014. Loretta was born February 16, 1955, in Mishawaka, to the late George and Angie (Allen) Bess. Loretta was also preceded in death by her brother, David Bess. On June 16, 1973, at Twin City Baptist Church in Mishawaka, Loretta married her loving husband of 41 years, Joseph Railing Sr., who survives along with their children, Joseph W. (Jennifer) Railing Jr. and Kevin (Wendy) Railing, both of South Bend; three grand-children, William, Allison and Devin; brothers, Jesse (Betty) Allen of South Bend and Timothy (Nancy) Bess of Cottage Grove, MN; and special friends, Annie Martin, Anita Poorman, Teresa Kemp and Donna Caccia. Loretta was a 1973 graduate of Mishawaka High School. She was employed with Parker Hannifin, Aramark and Meijer's, retiring in November 2013 due to illness. Loretta was an avid reader and enjoyed making greeting cards on the computer. She enjoyed writing poetry and her dream was to become a writer. Visitation for Loretta will be 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 14, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , 6100 W. 96th Street, Ste. 200, Indianapolis, IN 46278; or American Diabetes Association , 1701 N.
