Mrs. Hester Louise Key, age 91, passed away March 13, 2014. Born in Union County, she was the daughter of the late George Willis and Kelly Christopher Woody. She was also preceded in death by her husband , Sidney Key. Mrs. Key was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by family and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Pope officiating. Music will be provided by Marilyn Thomas.
Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 5-8 p.m.
