Roy A. Watson, 70, of 308 South Main Street, Slippery Rock, died suddenly of a heart attack at 11:00 AM yesterday morning.
Mr. Watson was a retired merchant of Slippery Rock, where he had been in business for many years.
Surviving him are his wife, Pearl Swartzlander Watson; a daughter, Mrs. A. P. Vincent of Slippery Rock; two sisters, Pearl Studebaker of Slippery Rock and Grace Hockenberry of 561 Fourth Street, Butler; and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Watson was a member of the Methodist Church of Slippery Rock.
Friends will be received at the family residence, 308 Main Street, Slippery Rock.
Funeral services will be held at the family residence at 2:00 PM tomorrow afternoon, with the Reverend Walter Gilland, pastor of the Slippery Rock Methodist Church, officiating.
