Mrs. Lois Roberts, 82, of 1606 O’Neal St. died Wednesday at 8:45 in the Greenville hospital.
Funeral services will be held today at 3:30 p.m. in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Winkler and Foster Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Park Cemetery.
She was born in Lone Oak, March 20, 1897, the daughter of Horace M. Jenkins and Betty Fortenberry Jenkins. She married Huey Roberts in Lone Oak, and was a member of the Johnson St. Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Will Bell, Mrs. Mack Cates and Mrs. Sugg Hughes all of Lone Oak. Several nieces and nephews also.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1953, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
