Mary Sue Arnold Dennis, age 96, widow of John Emmett Dennis, died August 18, 2010, at Bourbon Heights, in Paris, Kentucky. She was born on November 30, 1913, to the late John Dud Arnold and Myrtle Calvert Arnold.

She is survived by: six daughters, Bonnie Wells, Jane (J.B.) Ritchie, June (Julian) Knippenberg, Carol (Ken) Higdon, Nancy Chowning and Linda Sue (Rusty) Rogers; a son, Emmett Wayne (Eva) Dennis; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; nine step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond (Dixie) Arnold; and three sisters, Clarine Woosley, Ruby Hughes and Nina (Eddie) Mann.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 21, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
