Friends were grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. Lucy Bussey, wife of J.R. Bussey, at the hospital at nine o'clock last night. Funeral services have been arranged for tomorrow afternoon at five o'clock at the home of her parents, 403 Campbell street. Rev. Carter and Rev. T.F. Calloway will officiate and the following will act as pallbearers: N. Taylor, James C. Griffen, Lenoard Johnson, M.C. Bussey, T.E. Burney and Walker Washington.
Mrs. Bussey is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Brown,. both of whom survive her. She was born at Wadesboro, Fla., December 31, 1911, and was married to Mr. Bussey on April 4, 1936. There are three brothers, A.J., Robert and Will Brown, and one sister, Miss Lucille Brown. She was a gracious young woman, with many fine traits of character and deep sense of religious and civic responsibility. Her death has caused intense sorrow to relatives and friends made during her stay here
