HUFF--February 17th, Alexander Forbes, aged 70 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Sadie Huff, of 509 Churchill Towers, 1027 Cameron Ave. S.W.
Born in Edmonton, he served overseas during World War I with the Princess Patricia Canadian Life Infantry. He later transferred to the Royal Air Force and served as a Flight Lieutenant. During World War II he was a Captain in the Veterans Guard of Canada.
Mr. Huff was manager of Reliance Storage in Calgary until retiring in 1956. He has been a proof reader with the Calgary Herald since 1959. Mr. Huff was very active in the Downtown Optimist Club and had served as President for four years.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son William of Edmonton, a daughter Marjorie at the Coast, a stepson D.A. MacAskill of Tacoma, Washington, four grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Jessie Hart, Calgary. He was predeceased by a brother Albert in 1950.
