WILLISTON – The funeral was today in Round Prairie Lutheran Church, rural Williston, for a Williams County homesteader, Ed N. Anseth, 84, who died Friday in a Williston hospital.
Rev. Conrad O. Krahling officiated at the funeral.
Mr. Anseth was born Nov. 25, 1883, in Evansville, Minn. He was reared in Evansville and moved to Bottineau with his parents in 1903. In 1905 he homesteaded in Round Prairie Township, Williams County, and in 1922, purchased his present farm home in Hebron Township. Mr. Anseth was a member of Round Prairie Lutheran Church. He married Grace Gorger Nov. 29, 1919, at Williston.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Galyn of rural Williston; three daughters, Mrs. Bennie (Gloria) Braaten, Culbertson, Mont., Mrs. Clarence (Opal) DeTienne, Bainville, Mont., and Mrs. Floyd (Nyla Rae) Olson, Williston, 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Bodell of Landa.
