Survivors include two daughters: Helen (Harold) Dawes of Hammond, IN and Donna (Ed) Hall of Griffith, IN; four sons: Mell (Kay) Rambo of Hessville, IN; Neal (Judy) Rambo of Crown Point, IN; Charles (Willetta) Rambo Jr. and George (Stella) Rambo, both of Joliet; 25 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 1977 at 10:30 a.m. from the Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Ave., in Hessville with David DeFor, minister of the Merrillville Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Indiana. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr. Rambo was a resident of the Calumet Region for 40 years. He was a charter member of the Hessville Eagles and a current member of the Black Oak Eagles #2593. Black Oak Eagles will conduct a memorial service at the chapel on Friday at 8 p.m.
