Lee Center, Feb. 21 – John Cortland Golden died at his home here at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was born in Johnsonville eighty three years ago and was married fifty three years ago to Katherine Maria Potter. To then fourteen children were born, seven of whom are living. They are Daniel and William H, f Rome, Eugene Westmoreland, Mrs. P. J. Selden of Lee Center, Mrs. G. W. Storcks of Lowell, Mrs. L. P. Shear ad Mrs. E. D. Burns of Buffalo. The funeral will be held from his late home Friday at 10:30 a.m.

The funeral of Cortland Golden was held at his late home Friday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. E. L. Sheperd officiating.
The remains were placed in the vault, and later will be interred in Wright Settlement Cemetery.
