A service was held July 26 at Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon, with Father Bernard Tyler officiating.
She was born in Grosse Pointe Oct. 12, 1948, the daughter of Raymond Le- Roy and Grace Ellen (Johns) Davey. She had lived in Detroit before moving to Roscommon 25 years ago. She married Walter “Bill” Woods in Detroit. Her husband survives.
Mrs. Woods worked as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends on Facebook. She liked to read, do puzzles and play euchre. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and siblings, Mary Jane and Billy Davey.
Surviving besides her husband, Bill, are her daughters, Tianda Woods of Huron Township and Mary (Popeye) Jaggers of Roscommon; grandchildren, Amber Woods, Wyatt Ploeger, Chyenne and Austin Jaggers; great-granddaughter, Navia Grace; and special friend, Foxy.
