PROVIDENCE—Anna M. Piacitelli, 78, died Tuesday, July 23, 1991, in Miriam Hospital after an illness. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosina (Guarino) Gentile, and was a life-long resident of Providence.


Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Piacitelli, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Pastore, of Tucson, AZ; her son, Louis A. Piacitelli, Jr., of Providence; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph, Mario and Salvatore Gentile, all of Cranston; eight sisters, Virginia Ribezzo and Rose D'Amico, both of Johnston, Helen Scittarelli and Peggy D'Andrea, both of Cranston, Theresa Villa of Warwick, Josephine St. Amant of Pascoag, Prudence Kemmler of Hollywood, FL, and Viola Cazzarro of Simi Valley, CA. She was also the sister of the late John Gentile.
