Henry Lee Long
Jesus called Henry Lee Long home on November 26, 2003 at Centralia Providence Hospital. He was born April 19, 1930 in Prim, Ark. to Robert and Dora Long. He came to Ft. Lewis in March, 1951 to serve his country where he met and married Luvina Ruth Williams on Nov. 19, 1951. He is survived by his wife and seven children born of this union, Lavina Long, Robert Long, Deborah Parrish, Ramona Power, Mary McMurray, Rebekah Long and Nathan Long. As well as many brothers, sisters and other family members in Arkansas and Washington.
He was the respected owner and operator of Long's Construction. He was also well known as an Ordained Minister who witnessed on the streets in downtown Olympia. He was a devout man of God and followed His calling to various states to hold revivals and build Churches. His love and devotion has earned him his final reward.
Viewing will be held at Mills & Mills on November 30, at 4 p.m.
Services will beheld at South Union Church of God on December 3 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Banister officiating. He will be laid to rest at Grand Mound Cemetery with a fellowship potluck following.
