Mrs. Grace R. Moyer Richard, 81, of 221 Elm St., Rocky Grove, died at 2:20 am yesterday in the Franklin Hospital where she'd been since Aug. 25. She was born in Sunville March 27, 1882, daughter of Daniel M. and Sarah E. Scowden First.
She was educated in Sunville schools, and was a member of the Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church.
On Jan. 22, 1902, she married Clarence H. Moyer and moved to Rocky Grove. He died March 2, 1942. On Dec. 3, 1949 she married George R. Richard of Meadville, and he died July 18, 1956.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph E. Moyer of Galloway, and George W. Moyer, Bleakley Hill; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces; and a cousin. A sister, Emma J. Titus, died in 1957.
Services will be in the Buchanan-Schmidt Funeral Home with Rev. C. L. Rummel, pastor of Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Harry J. Lichy, pastor of Rocky Grove Avenue Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
