Obituary published Monday, 23 Jan 1961 in The Linton Daily Citizen: Zack Loveall, 70, Dies Near Here
Zack Loveall, 70 years old, died unexpectedly at his home a mile and a half northwest of Linton, at 10:30 o'clock this morning. He had been in failing health for three years. Mr. Loveall had moved to the Linton community about five years ago, from west of Worthington. He was a retired farmer and had last worked as a custodian at the Switz City High school. He was born in Dubois county on August 10, 1890, the son of John and Caroline Roberts Loveall. Mr. Loveall was a member of the Christian Church. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Grace Helderman Loveall to whom he was married January 21, 1913; four daughters, Mrs. Esta McDonald of Linton route one, Mrs. Jewell Keller of Worthington rural route, Mrs. Stoy Brunner of Shelburn, and Mrs. Marion Bennett of Linton rout three; one son, Robert Loveall of Indianapolis; four brothers, Charles and Elmer Loveall of MOnroe City, William Loveall of Shoals and James Loveall of Utah; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death and triplet daughters; Irene, Pauline, and Maurine, died at the age of four months. Mr. Loveall's body was taken to the Welsh and Cornett Funeral home for the completion of funeral arrangements. The will to be announced Tuesday.
