Son of Solomon J. & Sarah Eshbaugh. He studied medicine at Homeopathic Medical College in Chicago, IL. He came to Lexington, IL to practice his profession in 1886 for 10 years. In 1896 he returned to Chicago and spent a year in post graduate study, then he located in Kankakee, IL where he continued practice until 1948. He was united in marriage in 1892 to Miss Bessie M. Okeson. She preceded him in death in 1944. He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. F. G. (Mart) Slentz and Mrs. P. E. (Margery) Ball, 3 granddaughters, 4 brothers and one sister. 3 brothers preceded him in death.
