Donna Rosella Glover Watson, age 86, passed away July 1, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born April 23, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Albert and Clara Glover. She married Ralph Evans with whom she had 3 beautiful children, Mike, Susan and Holly. They later divorced. She married Jay Watson, they had 2 beautiful children, Mark and Jaime. They later divorced.
Donna was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held several callings and enjoyed doing temple work. Donna grew up in Midvale, Utah where her father’s family began several nursery businesses, including the Glover and Jordan nursery. Donna loved her family very much. She was so proud of each of her children and all of their accomplishments.
As a young woman, she worked for 20 years at the city & county building in the property tax commission department. Later in life, she opened up and ran a successful day care business for 15 years in her home in Holladay, Utah. Donna had a love for life. She enjoyed traveling around the world, cooking, doing service for others and spending time with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh every chance she had.
She is survived by her sister Alta Lyon, her children Michael Evans (Betty Jo), Susan Evans, Holly Evans, Mark Watson (Rebecca), Jaime Watson (Angela) and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her sisters Elva, Faye, and Maxine and brothers Calvin and Harold.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., July 8, 2014 at the Murray City Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at Highland Care Center for all the love and support they gave our mom.
