Pauline Elizabeth Drehle, 86, of Norborne, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Missouri.
Pauline was born December 12, 1927 in Carroll County, Missouri, the daughter of George and Mary Bernadette (McGlaughlin) Weisz. She graduated from Hardin High School and attended the Kansas City Business College.
On December 26, 1946 Pauline married Frank Eugene Drehle at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norborne, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2003.
Pauline was a secretary for the Norborne school district for twenty-five years where she also served as the Norborne School Board secretary. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norborne, Sacred Heart Altar Society, Sacred Heart Cemetery Board, and the Town and Country Garden Club.
Survivors include four children, Richard Drehle, Tebbitts, Missouri; Jeanette Craig and husband, Randy, Norborne, Missouri; Susan Mohn and husband, Alan, Richmond, Missouri; Cheryl Hogan and husband, Bently, Norborne, Missouri; one sister, Evelyn Bowery, Lawson, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Adriane Cole and husband, Jon; Benjamin Drehle and wife, Kym; Candi Craig and Ryan Calvert; Ryan Craig and wife, Kiley; Tiffany Craig and Daniel Carpenter; Blane Mohn and wife, Julie; Kristin Hogan and Kalie Hogan; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her parents, one son, Paul Drehle, and one daughter, Carol Homman, and nine brothers and sisters also preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Foster Funeral Chapel, Norborne, Missouri, with a Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norborne, Missouri with Reverend Kenneth Criqui officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Norborne, Missouri.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Sacred Heart Cemetery in memory of Pauline. They may be left at or mailed to Foster Funeral Chapels, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.
