The funeral service for Mrs. James V. Aldrich were held last Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home in Lake Geneva and were conducted by Rev. Wilson Denny. The remains were brought to Richmond for burial.
The Eastern Star service was given at the grave by the officers of the Richmond chapter, of which Mrs. Aldrich, was a charter member.
The bearers were: J. E. Barr, R. B. Bucknall, Jas. G. Allen, Dr. Harry L. Macdonald, John Jennings and E. A. Buell.
A number of friends, members of the Lake Geneva chapter O. E. S. and the immediate family accompanied the remains to Richmond. Members of the party were served refreshments at the residence of L. B. Covell, by Mrs. Covell and Mrs. F. B. McConnell, following the service at the cemetery.
