Mary (Spurlock) Holbrook, 94, of Austin, Indiana passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her residence.

She was born February 13, 1920 in Perry County, KY, of the late Jim Spurlock and Alice C. (Fox) Spurlock.

She retired from U.S. Shoe Factory after 35 years.

Survivors include:
Daughter: Vanda Blanton, Austin, Indiana
Son: Earl (Sheila) Holbrook, Austin, Indiana
Sisters: Wanda (Herman) Morris, Seymour, Indiana and Edna Spurlock, Red Bird, KY

She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Holbrook, brothers, Ford, Lester, Arnold, Marshall, Burl Spurlock, Sisters, Ida Deaton, Martha McIntosh, and a Son-In-Law, John Blanton.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Larry DeWitt officiating.

Visitation will be 11 am to 1 pm Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the New Providence Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
