Surviving are a daughter, Miss Thelma Adkins, at home; five sons, Paul Adkins, at home, Melvin Adkins, Baltimore, Md., Garnett Adkins, Charlie W. Adkins, Arnold Adkins, Christiansburg; seven brothers, Harry Adkins, Houston Adkins, Jesse Adkins, Ernest Adkins, Ray Adkins, Tom Adkins, Alfred Adkins, Christiansburg; four sisters, Mrs. Wallace Lytton, Mrs. Lottie McGuire, Mrs. Mabel Showalter, Mrs. Aline Patton, Christiansburg. The funeral was today at 2 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with burial in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens near Blacksburg. The Rev. Sebert Rorrer and the Rev. Charlie Woolwine conducted the services.
