THOMPSON Pearl Leona Dyer Thompson, age 106, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in River Ridge, LA. Beloved wife of the late David E. Thompson. Loving mother of Thelma Hoyle, Aimee Deyo and the late Nolan E. Thompson. Grandmother of Gayle Foster, Thomas Thompson and Jack and Danny Hoyle. Great grandmother of 7, Great great grandmother of 3. Daughter of the late Walter Dyer and Olive Bouzan Dyer. She was the eldest of 14: Walter Jr., Ernest, Elenore, Sadie, Hilda, Rollin, Owens, Emery, Olive, Edna May, Ruby, Ruth and Steven. Ms. Thompson was retired from Worthington Bag Factory after 35 years of service. She lived independently in her own apartment until her 90's. She was a native of Plaquemine, LA and resident of New Orleans, Arabi and Kenner, LA throughout her life. The family will hold a Memorial Service in honor of her life at a later date. Inurnment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery with her late husband.
