Josephine L. Horath, 84, died June 29, 2010 in Fife. She was born Oct. 12, 1925 in Unteriberg, Switzerland. She came to the U.S. in 1962 and became a citizen in 1995. She and her late husband, Arnold, had dairy farms in Kent, 1964-1967, and in Yelm, 1968-1976 and then retired, moving to Fife. She had received the “Most Beautiful Yard in Fife Award”, of which she was very proud. She was preceded in death by her husband and a Son, Walter. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth (Randy) Coble of Puyallup; a son, Arnold (Colleen) Horath of Tenino; a sister, Ida (Gusty) Marty of Switzerland; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews in Switzerland. A private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 12721 30th Ave. NE, Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98125. Arrangements are by Powers Funeral Homes.
