Henry County Local---February 16, 2005

Patsy Ann Croxton Lucas, age 71, of Eminence, died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Florida. She was previously the owner/operator of Lucas Monuments, worked as a clerk at Norm's Grocery for 10 years, a member of Eminence Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Eminence Baptist Church and choir, and daughter of the late Forest W. and Beulah Payton Croxton.

She is survived by one daughter, Becky Lucas, Cropper; three sons: Gary and Stevie Lucas, both of Eminence; Mike Lucas, Pleasureville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Lucas; one son, Ronnie Lucas; and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 17 at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Duncan, pastor of Eminence Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Eminence Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today (Wednesday, February 16) at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home.

Casket bearers will be Anthony Lucas, Jeremy Lucas, Shane Curry, Jackie Lucas, Donald Ray Adams, Earl Wayne Adams, Dwight Hardin, and Dean Hardin.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Eminence Baptist Church, P.O. Box 134, Eminence, KY 40019 or to WHAS Crusade for Children, P.O. Box 1100, Louisville, KY 40201.
