Geraldine was born in Arma, KS, to Desire and Mary (Mikrut) Falliaux. She was the third of seven daughters.
She was known and adored for her amazing humor and boundless love and loyalty to family and friends.
Geraldine married Everett Leon Beasley Sr. on March 4, 1954, at Bentonville, AR. Together they raised three children. After her husband's death in 1974, she worked as a home care provider for twenty years for the Kansas Department for Social and Rehabilitation Services, retiring in 1996.
A graveside service is set for 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2014, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Pittsburg, with Minister Andrew Stout conducting the service. Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Brenner Mortuary. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, to sign the register book. The family suggests memorials to the SEK Humane Society. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. The family will be gathering at the home of Paula George. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg, KS.
