CLAYTON, Carol (Cornelia) Louise.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandma and great grandma. After a brief illness, Carol went to be with her Lord on March 31, 2012 at the age of 86.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Fred Clayton and her children; David (Michelle), Dianne (Bert), Brian (Laura), John (Michelle), her stepsons; Daryl (Mary), Bob (Maxine) and many grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Carol was born in Provost, Alberta to Cornelius and Susanna Wiebe. She grew up in Northern Alberta, along with her 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Later the family moved to Yarrow, BC.

She met the love of her life while working in Vancouver at the Independent Biscuit Company. After marrying they moved to Abbotsford where they raised their 4 children and retired.

Mom's lasting legacy is her faith in her Lord and how she lived her life. Her love of family and her servant heart was evident to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all her family & friends.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 7th at Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
