Charles Marshall Boyer was born in Sugar Creek Township, in Clinton County, Indiana. His parents were: Samuel Boyer and Mary A. Galbreath Boyer. His siblings were: Jacob William Boyer, John Thomas Boyer, Nancy J. Boyer, Lizzie Boyer, & Mary M. Boyer. Marshall attended school at Pickard. He married Judith Anna Gallimore on June 1, 1884 in Clinton County, Indiana. Marshall & Judith Anna had two daughters: Mary Edith Boyer Bower and Opal Boyer Cox. Marshall operated a Lumber mill in Clinton County as a young man. He always farmed and raised and sold cattle. When Judith Anna passed on, he married Harriet Moore on Dec. 27, 1917. They lived on a farm in Marion Township, Boone County, Indiana until his death. Marshall was a loving father & grandfather.
