Aubrey Michelle (Fadule) Pappas and her unborn son, Nicholas "Niko" Pappas, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in a traffic accident in South Brunswick, NJ. She was 35.

Born in Freemont, California, she was raised in Marlton, NJ where she grew up on Barton Run Blvd. Aubrey grew up in a loving home surrounded by loving parents and her brother Joey. Aubrey graduated Cherokee High School in 1997. During her time in high school, she made countless friendships and touched so many people's lives. Aubrey was stunningly beautiful and popular. Aubrey was a well grounded person with an amazing heart who was friends with everyone. Aubrey had an amazing personality and could hold a conversation with anyone because of her kind nature. Aubrey was the homecoming queen in high school her senior year. Aubrey played field hockey and soft ball in high school. Aubrey remained best friends with many of these people. Aubrey graduated LaSalle University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2001 where she earned a bachelors degree in communications graduating Magna cum Laude. During her time at LaSalle University, she was involved in a weekly sports television show that covered LaSalle athletics. Aubrey built strong friendships in college that lasted a lifetime. Aubrey moved to the Township of North Brunswick, NJ in 2002 where she was hired as a 6th grade language arts teacher. Aubrey took tremendous pride in being a teacher and put her heart and soul into the profession for 13 years. During her time as a teacher, Aubrey established and founded a video production club at Linwood 12 years ago and taught the children to handle video cameras, narrate and edit production. Aubrey made so many amazing friendships while working at Linwood. She held a special place in her heart for her "Linwood Ladies". Aubrey developed many great relationships with students and loved them all.

Aubrey met her husband, Paul A. Pappas Jr. in January of 2006. They fell in love instantly and never left each others side. Aubrey and Paul got engaged on December 26, 2007, where prior to proposing, Paul recreated their very first date. Aubrey and Paul were married on July 26, 2009 at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway, NJ. Aubrey and Paul lived an amazing life together surrounded by loving family and friends. Aubrey and Paul traveled the world together in the 9 years they were together. Aubrey and Paul enjoyed smoking cigars together and drinking sangria together where they created their famous "Pappas Sangria". They moved to Monroe Township in December of 2010 where they bought their dream house. Aubrey and Paul loved to entertain their family and friends. The pool parties they had will never be forgotten. Aubrey gave birth to her son Anthony Joseph Pappas on March 17, 2012. Aubrey was an amazing mother to her son Anthony and she took such pride in caring for him. Aubrey always called Anthony her lucky charm since he was born on Saint Patrick's Day. At the time of her death, Aubrey was pregnant with her second child due on March 13, 2015. Aubrey and Paul decided that if the child was a boy, they would name him "Niko", short for Nicholas. After her passing, Paul named their unborn son Nicholas "Niko" Pappas.

Aubrey was a die hard New York Giants and New York Yankees fan. Aubrey idolized Derek Jeter and had a life size cardboard statue of him in her classroom. Aubrey, Paul, and her best friend Rod Jones attended Derek Jeter's last home game where they witnessed history together. Aubrey will always be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, Godmother, friend, colleague, and teacher.

Surviving are her husband, Paul A. Pappas, Jr.; her son, Anthony Joseph Pappas; her mother, Alida Escalona of Hainesport; her father, Joseph G. Fadule and stepmother, Mary Lonzetta of Robbinsville; her brother, Joseph G. Fadule, III and his fiancé Jaime Giglio of Mt. Laurel; her maternal grandmother, Gioconda Escalona of Lawrenceville and her paternal grandmother, Theresa Fadule of Hazelton, Pennsylvania; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul A. Pappas Sr. and Joann Pappas; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and God children.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, 1740 US Hwy 130 North, North Brunswick, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held at the church. Burial will be in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ.
