Scott is survived by his loving parents, Dwight and Barbara Meierhenry; sister, Lynn Saylor (Skip); brother, Kurt Meierhenry; uncles, Kent Meierhenry, Redge Meierhenry (Phyllis) and Ron Carey (Joan); niece, Marcy Saylor; and first cousins, Jennifer and Kelley.
Scott was a very sweet and kind person with a fun-loving personality and a naturally good sense of humor. His interests included computers and weight training and his passion for movies led him to study film editing in Los Angeles earlier this year. He was also an avid reader interested in a wide variety of subjects, including religion and spirituality.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, with a celebration of Scott's life following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Committal services following at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
