Jake Anderson was born on March 19, 1939, in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, the son of the late L. M. Anderson, Sr. and Susie Bowling Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Anderson, of Southport, North Carolina, one daughter: Terry Kreienbrink of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, one son: Charles M. Anderson of Burkesville, Kentucky, one step-daughter: Shawna Wolfenberger of Indianapolis, Indiana, one sister: Ann Larkey of London, one brother: L. M. Anderson, Jr. of New Port Richey, Florida, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by four sisters: Ruth Pogue, Sarah Dixon, Mae Acton and Dorothy Bentley and three brothers: Joseph, James and John Anderson.
He was a retired truck driver, a former member of the National Guard and a member of Beach Road Baptist Church in Southport, North Carolina.
