Cora G. Martin was born January 11, 1919, at Olivet, South Dakota, the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Kraayenbrink) Martin.
As a child, she moved with her parents to a farm southeast of Norris.
She grew up in that area and attended rural school in that area. As a young lady, she worked various jobs in the Norris area.
On March 27, 1939, she was united in marriage to Byron D. Letellier at Sturgis, South Dakota.
To this union was born four children: Brenda Joyce in 1940, lived three days and went to be a rose bud in God's garden of roses, Duane Byron in 1941, Marvis Laverne in 1944, and Ronald Royce in 1948. T
They made their home on a farm/ranch 2 1/2 miles southwest of Norris. After they retired, they moved to Los Fresno, Texas. After Byron's death on May 30, 1988, she continued to live there.
Cora was united in marriage to Fred Dillman on July 15, 1995, and they made their home in Pleasanton, Texas where they continued to reside until Fred's death six years later.
In 2002, she moved to Kadoka, to be close to her sons, and made her home at the Gateway Apartments.
Survivors include three sons ; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters
In addition to her first husband Byron Letellier, and her second husband Fred Dillman; Cora was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Letellier; two brothers and three sisters
Memorial services were held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, at the Presbyterian Church in Kadoka, with Pastor Gary McCubbin officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
