Mrs. Alice S. Butcher, wife of Harry A. Butcher, 418 East Maple street, died Saturday evening at 10:30 o’clock. She was 72. Surviving, besides her husband, are the following children: Mrs. John Billet, York RD 9; Mrs. Jesse McCall, York; Paul Butcher, York, and Charles Butcher, York RD 4; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was a member of Christ Lutheran church this place.
Funeral services will beheld tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the Purd A. Riedel Funeral home, with further services at Christ Lutheran church. The pastor, Rev. S. L. Hench, will officiate.
