Married first to Josiah Bozarth, whom she wed on Feb.28, 1858 in Clinton, Missouri. Josiah died in the Civil War in 1861.

Mary married Andrew Jackson Bailey on March.14, 1866 in Tebo, Missouri. They had 7 children; Jennie, Edgar O., Ollie B., Cora Etta, Eula Lee, William Homer & Susie Ethel.

Clinton MO - Mary Susan Coppage was born in Clinton, Henry county, March 24, 1842, and was married in Clinton, to Josiah Bozarth, the 28th of February, 1858, and he died in Clinton, April 8th, 1861. She was married to Andrew Jackson Bailey March 14th, 1866, in Tebo township, Henry county, Mo. She lived there until March 15th, 1910, when she moved to Leeton, Johnson county, Mo. She joined the Methodist church, South, at what is known now as the Hickory Grove church, under the ministry of John A. Murphy, in 1874, in which church she spent the rest of her life in honor of her Maker and Savior. To Mr. and Mrs. Bailey seven children were born, all living - Mrs. Jennie Bronaugh, Mounds, Okla.; Edward O., Seattle Washington; Mrs. Ollie Bronaugh, Leeton; Mrs. Cora Moore, Leeton, route 17; Mrs. Eula Crooks, Clinton, route 3; William H., Leeton; and Mrs. Susie Gilliam, Chilhowee, Mo. Beside her children she leaves one brother, John W. Coppage, Leeton, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. F. M. Wise, Leeton, Mo., route 17, and a host of relatives and friends. Deceased departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eula Crooks, near Garland, Jan. 28, 1922, at 12:45 a.m., being 79 years, 10 months and 4 days of age. She was only bedfast four days, but had been in failing health for some time and endured her afflictions with patience, and expressed her self to her daughters, Ollie and Eula, a few hours before she passed away, that she had no fears of death and was ready and willing to go. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 25, 1921. She was a devoted mother and a good neighbor. Her funeral was preached at Hickory Grove, Jan. 29, 1922 and her remains interred in the cemetery nearby.
