Mrs. Julia McLane died early Monday morning at the family home near Cameron.
Mrs. McLane, it is reported here, died from an infection which set up from a burn on her head. Recently while in a beauty shop she was burned about the head by a hair fixing machine.
Mrs. McLane was feeling normal Sunday, it was said, and her husband who survives, was in Cameron. Her death came unexpectedly, though she had been under treatment for some time by a local physician.
Funeral services were conducted from the Green Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, November 23, 1942. Interment was made in the Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. John Cole, pastor of the Walkers Creek Baptist Church, officiating.
