Mrs. Minnie May Kloster
Mrs. Minnie May Kloster, 59, 425 Denver street, died at a local hospital yesterday at 5 p.m. Death was caused fro kidney complications.
Mrs. Kloster was born Aug. 7, 1868, at Davis, Ill. She was married to Frederick Carl Kloster in November, 1887, the couple leaving Davis for Shell Rock, Ia., immediately after their wedding. For two years Mrs. Kloster remained in Shell Rock, removing to Davis, Ill., and later to Waterloo, where she has made her home for 22 years. She was a member of Graves Memorial United Brethren church, and was a member of Knights and Ladies of Security lodge.
Nine children survive: Ray H. Kloster, 612 Western avenue; Mrs. M.E. Shanewise, Pasadena, Cal.; Mrs. K.P. Cotton, Sioux City, Ia.; and Ruth, Thelma, Guy, Robert, Gladys and Grace Kloster, all at home. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 29, 1926.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Petersen Bros.’ chapel, Rev. E.W. Main pastor of Graves Memorial United Brethren church, officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood.
Friends are requested to view the remains at the chapel before the service as the casket will not be opened later.
